Step Up Easter Outreach

Easter is about renewal.
For our maiden Easter donation drive, Step Up Business School collaborates with its alumni to act. We are raising funds for Chosen Rehab, a faith‑based rehabilitation centre in Achimota that rescues and rebuilds lives damaged by addiction and homelessness.
Since 2008, Chosen Rehab has provided free boarding, food, clothing and medical care to drug addicts, alcoholics, street children and the homeless. Residents spend three months on‑site where all their needs are met, then staff help them reunite with their families and find jobs and housing. The centre’s outreach teams visit ghettos, hospitals and prisons to offer food, medicine and spiritual counselling, and it runs a nation‑wide “Say No to Drugs & Alcohol” campaign to prevent addiction before it starts
On 14 March 2024, a fire destroyed two dormitories at the Achimota centre. No one was injured, but the blaze wiped out bedding, clothing and personal belongings. Without new dormitories the centre cannot house everyone who needs help.
Chosen Rehab operates on donations. Even before the fire, the centre publicly appealed for financial and in‑kind support to continue providing free rehabilitation services. Now it faces an urgent shortfall.
Our school teaches leadership by action, not words. This is an opportunity to live our values:
Lead by example: A minimum gift of GH¢100 helps provide shelter, food and medical care for one recovering resident for about a week.
Rebuild lives: Contributions larger than GH¢100 fund construction materials and bedding to replace what was lost in the fire.
Live Easter’s promise: By giving, you embody the Easter message of renewal and second chances.
If 500 alumni each contribute GH¢100, we will raise GH¢50,000—enough to rebuild the dormitories and keep the centre’s outreach running. Please donate through the channels provided by Step Up’s administration. Your support will directly help people who are ready to change their lives.
